The British Academy Newton International Fellowships

The British Academy Newton is offering International Fellowships to facilitate researchers to work for two years at a UK institution to nurture long-term international collaborations. The fellowship aims to entice the most talented early-career postdoctoral researchers from overseas in the natural sciences, social sciences, and the humanities.
The rationale for the Newton International fellowships is to assist the development and training of early-stage postdoc researchers from any country outside the UK.

Eligibility:

The applicant must have a Doctoral or be in the final stages of their Ph.D. will be accepted provided that the Ph.D. will be completed (including viva) before the fellowship’s start date.
Applicants should not have more than seven years of active full-time postdoctoral experience at the time of application.
The applicant must be working outside the UK.
The applicant should not hold UK citizenship.
The applicant must possess proficiency (oral and written) in English.

Duration: Two years

Financing aid: £30,000 per annum and up to £8,000 per annum for research expenses and as a one-time payment of up to £3,500 for relocation expenses.
