Walk-in-Interview for Award of Research Associates (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
Indian Nationals are invited to walk-in-interview for the fellowship of Research Associates (RA) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a DRDO project at the Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur (Rajasthan), a material cluster laboratory of DRDO.
Fellowships Details
FELLOWSHIP EMOLUMENT AT PRESENT with HRA and medical facilities as per rules.
For RA, Rs. 54,000/- p.m. & Duration of Fellowship: 02 Years (Two Years).
For JRF, Rs. 31,000/- p.m. & Duration of Fellowship: 02 Years-(may be extended further and upgraded to SRF as per rules).

Essential Qualification and Experience: Ph.D. in Physics / Material Science OR having 03 (Three) years of Research, Teaching, and Design & Development experience after ME/M.Tech in an area related to Physics /Material Science with at least one (01) research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal.

Essential Qualification and Experience: Graduate degree in professional course (BE./ B. Tech.) in Electronics /Electronics & Communi¬cation in first division with NET/GATE qualification. OR Post Graduate (M.E. /M. Tech.) degrees in professional courses in Electronics / Electronics & Communication in the first division both at the graduate and post-graduate level.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Age not exceeding 35 years for RA & 28 years for JRF as of the interview date. Age relaxation is allowed for up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH and three years for OBC candidates. Candidates are requested to submit a photocopy of documents & produce original certificates related to age, educational qualification, and experience. Those candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category must have the original caste certificate issued by the competent authority. Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates should produce the medical certificate issued from the Government Hospital/Medical Board as the case may be in support of their claim. NO TA WILL BE PAID.
Please note that the fellowship offer does not confer on fellows any right for absorption in DRDO.
The Research Fellowship may be terminated at any time during the tenure with prior notice of one month. In addition, fellows may resign with prior notice of one month.
Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur reserves the right to amend/modify, or summarily cancel this advertisement. Furthermore, the above-notified fellowships are likely to be increased, decreased, or canceled depending upon the prevailing requirement restrictions, if any, as per the policy of the Government of India.

The eligible candidate can "WALK IN FOR INTERVIEW AT DEFENCE LABORATORY, Dr. DS KOTHARI MARG RATANADA PALACE, RATANADA, JODHPUR-342 011 (RAJASTHAN) AT 10:00 HRS ON THE DATE MENTIONED ABOVE".
While appearing for the interview, the candidates must submit complete Bio-Data with a recent passport-size photograph (top right corner of the first page) and one set of self-attested photocopies of all the degrees/certificates/Mark Sheets/ Experience Certificates, etc.
Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Bodies should produce a NOC issued by the present employer.
