Minimum Qualification Requirements
- Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree.
- Should have an outstanding academic record.
- Should have proven potential for excellence in research and teaching.
- Candidates should have a first-class or equivalent (in terms of Grades) in the preceding degree and fulfill the experience requirements stated below, as per Government of India norms.
Requisite Experience
- For Professor: Ten years of research/teaching/industrial experience, of which at least four years are supposed to be at the level of Associate Professor or comparable.
- For Associate Professor: Six years of teaching/research/industrial experience of at least three years should be at the rank of Assistant Professor or comparable.
- For Assistant Professor: Three years of teaching/research/industrial experience post-PhD.
- For Assistant Professor (on Contract): For a fresh Ph.D. candidate, the position will be on a contract basis for the first three years. On completion of this, the position will be regularized.
