Filling up of the vacant positions of Assistant Director in the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology, Ministry of Education, New Delhi on deputation (including short-term contract) basis.
The following post in the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT) New Delhi, a Subordinate Office of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education is proposed to be filled by transfer on deputation (including short-term contract).

Pay Scale: Level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500)/- in the pay matrix.
Period of Deputation: Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre position held immediately preceding the employment in the same or some other department or organization of the Central Government shall not exceed three (03) years.
Age: 56 years.
Qualifications
Deputation (Including Short-term Contracts):
Officers under the Central or State Governments or UTS or Autonomous or Statutory Organisation or PSUs or Universities or Recognised Research Institutes.
- Holding analogous posts regularly in the parent cadre or department. or
- With two years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto regularly in level 8 (Rs. 47600-151100) or Level 9 (Rs. 53100- 167800) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
- Possessing the following educational qualification and experience: For a post in any subject other than Engineering:
Essential:
Master Degree from a recognized University in the subject concerned; Studied Hindi or any Modern Indian Language and English as compulsory or optional subjects at the tenth level. Three years of field or research or teaching experience in the concerned discipline in any Central Government or State Government Department or in any Autonomous or Statutory Body, University or recognized research Institution or public sector undertaking.
Desirable
Ph.D. in the concerned subject from a recognized University or Institute.
Note: The exact discipline in which the Master's Degree qualification is required will be indicated at the time of each recruitment.
