IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is inviting applications from well-qualified Indians, Persons of Indian Origins (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), and Foreign Nationals for the faculty positions at the level of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor in its various academic Departments, Centres, and Schools.
Remuneration:
Professor: Rs.1,59,100 – 2,20,200/-at Academic Level 14A
Associate Professor: Rs.1,39,600 – 2,11,300/-at Academic Level 13A2
Assistant Professor (Grade I): Rs.1,01,500-1,67,400 at Pay Level 12.
Requirements:
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:
- Applicant must possess a Doctoral degree and First class (or equivalent grade) at the previous degree in an appropriate discipline with an excellent academic record throughout. Applicant must also have a minimum of three years of professional experience minus the experience before and while pursuing Doctoral studies.
PROFESSOR:
- Applicant must have at least ten years of Teaching, Research, and Industrial. The experience should include at least four years at the level of Associate Professor in IITs or similar institutes.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
- Applicant must have at least six years of Teaching, Research, and Industrial experience. It should include at least three years of experience as an Assistant Professor or equivalent in IITs or similar institutes.
*The Foreign Nationals appointment will be for five years, the contract will be on a renewable basis, and the selected candidate will have to get a work visa from GoI.
