The Department of Science & Technology (Government of India) invites applications from Indian citizens to fill four Scientist positions on direct recruitment basis.
Nature of position: Permanent
Scientist- 'C'
Remuneration: Level-11 in the pay matrix Rs. 67700-208700/-
Requirements:
Pharmacy:
- The candidate must hold a master's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College or an equivalent.
- Desirable: Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited University or equivalent.
Physics:
- The candidate must hold a master's in physics by a recognized University degree or equivalent.
- Desirable: Doctorate Degree in Physics from an acclaimed University degree or equivalent.
Experience: Four years of experience in R&D in Industrial and Educational Institutions or Science and Technology organizations and scientific activities and services.
Scientist- 'D'
Remuneration: Level-12 in the pay matrix Rs. 78800-209200/-
Requirements:
Pharmacy:
- Applicant must hold a Master's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College or equivalent.
- Desirable: A doctorate in Pharmacy from a recognized University or
Medicinal Chemistry/ Biotechnology:
- Applicant must hold a master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry or Bio-Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Desirable: Doctorate Degree in Medicinal Chemistry or Biotechnology from a recognized University or the equivalent.
Experience: Eight years experience with R&D in the industry and academic Institutions or science and technology corporations, or scientific activities and services, out of which four years shall be in S&T programs, planning, development, and cooperation.
Age limit: The maximum age for direct recruits shall be 35 years for Scientist C and 40 years for Scientist D as of the last date of applications. Relaxation in the age limit is per the orders the Central Government issued.
