Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) invites applications from officers under Central Government /State Government/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Union Territories/ Autonomous Bodies for appointment on Foreign Service terms basis, including short-term contracts.
Post – Personal Assistant
The scale of Pay - PB-2, 9300-34800 plus GP of Rs. 4200 (Level 6 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC).

Educational Qualification - Preferably Computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
Nature of Experience - Working as Secretariat Staff.
Qualifying Service – Persons under Central Government/ State Government/Union Territories/ Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies:
- Holding analogous posts regularly; or
- With six years of regular services in the scale of Rs. 5200-20200, GP 2800 (Level 5 of 7th Pay Matrix) or equivalent; or
- With ten years of regular services in Rs. 5200-20200, GP 2400 (Level 4 of 7th Pay Matrix) or equivalent.
General terms & conditions are as under:
- The JERC shall govern the Pay and Allowances and other conditions of service for the State of Goa & UTs (Recruitment, Control, and service conditions of officers & staff Regulations), 2009, read along with the instructions contained in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17th June 2010, as amended from time to time.
- The candidate's age shall not exceed 56 years as of the date of the vacancy advertisement.
- Candidates may also note that this Commission will not be responsible for any lapse/shortfall in applying due to any reason.
No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
Additional terms and conditions are as under:
- The appointment on deputation on foreign services terms basis shall be made initially for three years. The extension will be considered in consultation with the Central Government, subject to a yearly satisfactory performance appraisal.
- The eligibility of candidates working in PSUs or other Govt. Where the Industrial/ Variable Dearness Allowance pattern is applicable, organizations shall be determined by equating their IDAA/DA pattern pay scale with the requisite CDA pattern pay scales as customarily done. The candidate is working in the Autonomous body/Govt. Undertaking; PSU, the correspondent pay scale mentioned in the advertisement should be noted.
- While forwarding the application of the eligible candidate, attested copies of Annual Confidential Reports/Annual Performance Appraisal Reports of the last five years and up to date, vigilance clearance certificate of the officials concerned, and integrity certificate may also be forwarded to The Admn.- cum-Accounts Officer, Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission, 3rd & 4th Floor, Plot No. 55-56, Udyog Vihar, Phase-IV, Gurugram-122015. Applications complete in all respect may also be forwarded by e-mail at aao.jercuts@gov.in, which should be followed by submitting an original hard copy.

Selection Method: The candidates meeting the eligibility criteria would be shortlisted and called for interaction and written test.
The application of the officers/officials, who cannot be relieved immediately, need not be forwarded. However, once selected, the candidate cannot withdraw their candidature later.
