Recruitment of Officers Cadre Posts at the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra (NIT Kurukshetra) is inviting online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the recruitment of the following Officer Cadre Posts:

Qualifications and Requirements
Deputy Registrar
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the CGPA/UGC point scale
- Excellent academic record from a recognized university or institute.
Experience:
- Nine years experience as an Assistant Professor with three years of experience in educational administration, or
- Comparable experience in research, or
- Five years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent post.
Desirable:
- Qualifications in the field of Management/Engineering/ Law.
- Experience working in E-Office systems.
- A Chartered or Cost Accountant degree/diploma for the position of Deputy Registrar (Finance and Accounts) or Deputy Registrar (Internal Audit).
Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years
Age Limit: 56 years
Period of Probation: One year.
Senior Students Activity and Sports Officer
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Physical Education or Sports Science or an equivalent degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade with an excellent academic record.
- Record of having represented at the University or College competitions or State and national championships;
- Qualifying in the national-level test conducted by the UGC or any other equivalent organization approved by UGC and should have passed the physical fitness test conducted as per institute regulations.
- Record of organizing events (student’s convener).
Experience:
- Holding analogous posts or
- At least five years of experience as a SAS Officer or equivalent level in PB-3 on an equivalent post in the University or Institute of National importance (Central or State Government)
- Strong involvement and a proven track record in organizing sports and other activities (drama/music/photography/Journalism/films/painting/event management).
Desirable:
- Experience in guiding groups of students in creative activities.
- Candidates with a degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in an applicable Discipline.
- Record of solid involvement and track record of participation in sports and other student/event management activities during college/ university studies.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years
Medical Officer
Essential Qualifications: MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification must be registered in a State or National Medical Register.
Desirable: PG qualification, preferably MD in General medicine or equivalent, must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
Period of Probation: 1 year.
Age Limit: 56 years
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
Technical Officer (Chemistry)
Essential:
- M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 on 10 point scale) and consistently excellent academic record. OR
- Employees of the Institute working as Technical Assistants (SG II) for at least five years or Technical Assistants (SG-I) with two years of regular service in the institute.
Desirable:
- Work experience in a relevant field, e.g., scientific equipment maintenance and research support.
- Candidates with Ph.D. degrees in the relevant field will be preferred.
Period of Probation: 1 year.

Technical Officer (Computer Engineering)
Essential Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech Degree in Computer Engineering with first-class or equivalent grades and consistently excellent academic record. OR
- Employees of the Institute working as a Technical Assistant (SG II) for at least five years or Technical Assistant (SG-I) in PB-2 with two years of regular service in the institute.
Desirable:
- Work experience in the relevant field, for example, system administration, maintenance of scientific equipment, software development in fabrication, and support to research.
- Candidates with Ph.D. degrees in any relevant field will be preferred.
Period of Probation: 1 year
Age Limit: 56 years
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
Executive Engineer
Essential Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with a first-class or an equivalent grade on the CGPA / UGC 7-point scale
- Excellent academic record OR
- Personnel of the institute with at least five years of regular service as Assistant Engineer (SG ll) or at least two years of standard service as Assistant Engineer (SG-l) in PB-2.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
Period of Probation: 1 year.

Therefore, candidates should check the online application link, read the instructions carefully, and fill in the online application form giving accurate information.
The hard copy of the application and documents must reach the -10- address along with a self-attested copy of all documents supporting their age, qualification, experience, etc., by 07.03.2023.
