The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is a polytechnic university and school of engineering. The University was established in 1829. The Technical University of Denmark is an independent and self-governing university helmed by the Board of Governors as the highest authority. The University is ranked 104 in QS World University Rankings. DTU is at the academic and multidisciplinary front of the technical and the natural sciences with new initiatives in several demanding engineering disciplines, including sustainable energy technology and life science.
